Branch out. Mural in Augsburg

Branch out – the tallest mural we’ve ever painted, and one of the biggest in Germany.
It was a really challenging project, our first time working on such a massive structure (19 floors building), and we couldn’t be happier to have been part of it.
We were essentially painting blind. You can’t exactly step back to check your perspective when you’re pinned against a wall that high. It was definitely an exercise in trusting the process, but a fascinating experience. Being embedded on an active construction site, working alongside all the different build teams, really made us feel part of something monumental. We’re honored that our work has become a part of the landscape of Augsburg.

The building where we painted the mural is located near the Lechbrücke in Augsburg. It was originally built for athletes of the 1972 Summer Olympics and has served as a student residence ever since.
